If you are a football fan and you are in Seoul, you MUST visit the Seoul World Cup Stadium. There a dedicated metro station at the suburb which is about 30 mins from the city center. It was the stadium that hosted the France vs Senegal match in World Cup 2002.
I made my way there and was treated to some wonderful hospitality from an elderly groundsman who gave me a personalised commentary on the stadium and invited me to come back to watch a match on the very same night. I was given free access to almost all parts of the stadium like the locker rooms, press room, meeting rooms etc.
In the stadium was also a museum, with a host of memorabilia from previous World Cups like match balls and jerseys.
