Have you ever seen these strange looking sticks of candies in the streets of China and wondered what they are made of?
Well, in case you have always wondered, they are actually hawthorn fruit in frosted caramel.
It is a candy treat with traditions dating back many centuries ago. I bought one to try and find it waaaayyyyyyy too sweet for my liking and its almost impossible to finish one without a drink to dilute the sweet taste.
Next time you come across a vendor selling these, try it ! Its got an interesting after taste.
Like they said, a taste is better than a thousand words.

I thought it would be a good idea to share what camera gear I use. I use a Canon EOS500D with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens and EF 50mm f/1.8II.

I am on my way in a few weeks and can't wait to explore Shanghai and the Expo.
