I thought it would be a good idea to share what camera gear I use. I use a Canon EOS500D with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens and EF 50mm f/1.8II.
Lovely pics. There is a lovely shanghai restaurant around the xintiandi area which is tried in 2005. It is housed in one of the traditional houses and is always very packed. Not very posh but serves lovely food. Can't remember the name but would love to recommend it to a friend who will be in Shanghai soon. Wonder if you have tried it and can enlighten me on the name.

Never been there, my wife who is Shanghianess, says the food is so so, and very commercial and not real Shanghai food.
But I have never been to this restaurant. The name is very catching..
