Some of you may have read before that I attended the Singapore F1 Grand Prix last year.
The experience was superb and it was a night to remember. As a spectator then, I felt the event more than lived up to the hype of the world's first ever F1 Grand Prix night race. Also, if you are in the mood for a party before or after the finale, there are plenty of F1 themed events peppered throughout the city till late. Very late.
With the night lighted up as bright as day, the excitement of all the spectators, the wonderful atmosphere of the city and the buzz of the V10s roaring in the streets of Singapore was quite a sight to behold.
I am back at the F1 this year!
Wanting to experiencing the event from a different angle from the year before, this time round, I chose tickets to Zone 2, where the Singapore Flyer is (I was at the Marina Bay Granstand last year). Though it is the smallest zone in the entire track, the view from the Singapore Flyer promises the ticket holder a close to 80% view of the entire track. This is a sharp contrast compared to other grandstands where you can only view a small section of the track and see the cars zoom past you in a matter of seconds.
The view did not disappoint:
More pictures coming up soon...

I thought it would be a good idea to share what camera gear I use. I use a Canon EOS500D with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens and EF 50mm f/1.8II.
