The Shanghai Thinking Man

A very embarrassing thing happened  to me today. Errr...well...I am not sure if its more embarrassing to me or to the other party involved.

Candy and I arranged to meet at Cloud Nine Mall at Zhongshan Park for lunch. As I was there half an hour early, I decided to shop around a bit. Halfway through that, I suppose to answer a (small) call of nature and decided to find a wash room.

I found one on the third level. The gents washroom had an odd layout. The first thing you see when you enter the washroom are the stalls instead of urinals. Seeing that one of the doors was slightly ajar, I decided to use that one and gave it a hard push.

When the door opened with some force, I saw a bloke, obviously with his pants down, seated on the toilet in a Thinking Man position, answering a bigger call of nature. To say it was an awkward situation was a massive understatement. I was caught in between embarrassment and bursting out in laughter. Somehow, I managed to suppress those feelings and reacted accordingly.

Great credit to that man. He was so cool that he didn't even look up (I would have screamed my head off if I were him !!!).

Sensing that a man is not to be disturbed while in deep thoughts on his throne. I quickly close the door gently and made a quick exit. Needless to say, I didn't use much of the wash room facilities!

Sorry dude, if you are the man described in the above scenario and reading this, my actions are totally unintentional. Please, please, please lock the door when using a public toilet next time!

Hey dude, I am the THINKING MAN that you mentioned. Actually that lock didnt work. That's why I had to leave it open. it's ok dude, dont you worry about it. Anyway, I was nice to meet you...haha
