Shopgirl's Shanghai

Wow, I really wish I had discovered your blog earlier so I could go here when I was in Shanghai by that time.

Will go there this summer :)
thanks for the info

Stephen

This is a great market for the cheaper bargain. I have been going there for the past 18months. I tend to visit every few months and find the stock always good.
Bags would have to be the best choice here.
Most other sites you would perhaps start your bargain @ 800RMb whereas here the price will start around the 350-400RMB mark, for ladies handbags that is.

Hi Stepehen,

yes. personally i find a lot of bargain esp for leather goods there too.

Pat

Thanks heaps.

Hi Pat,

Jin Hui Road is quite a distance from Pudong Airport. From Hongqiao Airport, it is 15 to 20 mins taxi ride though.

MY GEAR

  • I thought it would be a good idea to share what camera gear I use. I use a Canon EOS500D with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens and EF 50mm f/1.8II.

Sometimes, I use a Canon IXUS 95IS which tucks neatly into my pocket.

    I use a MacBook,iPad and iPhone.
