Thanks for posting this... My girlfriend and I just got back from our first Shanghai visit -- she was sad to hear that Shanghai's famous market for fakes had closed, but the "Fashion Mall" location more than made up for it.

Who knew that Sideways 2 had been released in theatres, let alone on DVD?

Glad to hear this was usefully for you both. Hope the trip was good!

I didn't even know there was a Sideways 1! :0)

Hi we are visiting shanghai in dec.Is it really cold/rainy? We be staying at charms hotel. Is it really within walking distance to the bund?what can we do on the 1st evening?I am thinking of visiting QI PU JIE.Does anybody know how much does it cost by taxi from nanjing lu-qi pu jie? or the new xiang yang market? i also heard theres a shopping mall with a children amusement park in it.does any 1 know abt it ?Thanks.

Information for those concerned: the 64 GB USB keys sold on that market are all fake!

Does anyone know of an equivalent market (replica/fakes) in Beijing?

In beijing, see the cotton market, Pearl market has main market plus one behind and toy market behind as well, Sunny market, and lastly silk market ( i 'd skip this one vender are pushy!) but pearl would be cheapest! fight for those buys!

Thank you article
