For all you out there not too sure about the time difference between Australia and China - here is the gen.
Although China is a massive country (land mass is greater than that of Australia) and stretches across many time zones - it all operates on the 1 time zone all year round. That time is GMT +8.
That means currently China is 2 hours behind Australia's East Coast (AEST), when daylight savings (AEDST) kicks in late this month we will be 3 hours behind. So please don't ring us at 9am your time (6am our time) or I'll start calling you at 9pm our time!
Unfortunately China does not observe daylight savings time, so in summer its just like being in Queensland!
Speaking of summer, thats one thing that Sabrina and I feel ripped off about, being in Sydney we had just emerged from winter, we arrive in Shanghai and we are about to enter winter - no summer for us for over a whole year - bummer!
